Stepp'd in so far, that, should I wade no more,
Returning were as tedious as go o'er.

  1. I loved the movie. the performers were all brilliant. Macbeth was really a significant character. It was so much interesting how it showed us his bloody wishes, wills and needs. Once he started, did it one time, he couldn't stop and went farther than even his wife Lady Macbeth could have imagined.
"He's in blood... killed many...should no more... he couldn't get over the first crime whn was acting like insane... what about all other crimes ... would he be able to get over them? ... No, ofcourse... Killed many...Achieved few... Otherwise, lost every thing..."

    Thanks for the great show.

  4. ayat kurraz

    in this movie:

Macbeth is plagued by guilt over killing his best friend--thus he hallucinates he sees his friend's corpse. Much of the play is about guilt--it drives Macbeth into madness, Lady Macbeth, too, sleepwalks and pretends to wipe blood off her hands. However, she will always "see" the blood--no matter how clean her hands appear. The play is about the deception of appearances as well. Also something to think about: As soon as the Macbeths had everything they thought they wanted--the crown, the kingdom, and the wealth--their happiness turns to sorrow

  5. I think that the three witches (the Weird Sisters) are fascinating characters.

Macbeth is a play that deals with issues of good and evil as well as ambiguity which the witches themselves completely embody. Yes, they are sinister and grotesque as all good, scary witches should be, but at the same time they comment on the dualities that exist in the world.

They are mischief makers and obviously like to cause havoc with mortal lives, but what's most interesting is that they never actually do anything. They merely make appearances and make predictions, but other than that, they are observers of the action that takes place throughout the course of the play. This, of course, brings up issues of fate and destiny as well as free will. Would Macbeth have killed Duncan if the witches hadn't told him he would become king? Would he have been so foolhardy in battle if the witches hadn't counseled him?

    They really are wonderful characters.

  7. Macbeth tells of a man who is deceived by himself and his wife. The play opens with thunder and lightning and the appearance of three witches--supernatural beings. Due to the fact that this is the beginning of the play, the opening Act, it foreshadows the central theme of the play--evil.-

  10. I read macbeth just few days ago but I remember it very well. Simply because the story has a moral lesson for all of us. the lust of power and money can drive even the most strong to moral degradation.

Macbeth inspite of being a great hero kills the king , king Duncan and his friend Banquo just because he was informed by the three witches that he will one day become the king of Scotland. but before that king Duncan was figthing the king of norway in a battle. its was only due to Macbeth and Banquo that the king managed to get a victory in the battle. but during the battle thane of cawdor who was with the king Duncan earlier revolted against him and took side of king of norway in the battle. it was a narrow win for the king of Scotland due to only Macbeth and Banquo.

  12. I love this play so much

It is about the conflict between right and wrong

And the right win always at the end

Macbeth believes the withes and don’t listen to his friend

He makes a lot of sins to be a king and his wife help him and they lose their life for that ...

  13. Macbeth play is an evidence of the English and Scottish culture that prevailed in the sixteen century.People believed in super natural power and metaphysics and had superstitious even the leaders at the time sought advise at witches and fortune tellers.
Macbeth confirmed that behaviour is an outcome of our thoughts and beliefs can be re_structured by people around us,exactly what greedy ambitious Lady Macbeth who wanted to have power at any costs, presuaded, the noble, brave, and honored.Macbeth to convert into murderer even of the closest friend.
But shakespear fantastically concluded the play with unbearable feeling of guilt that made Macbeth's suffer the consequences of losing thier minds and finally the Lady committed suicide and Macbeth got killed.
    Evil never prevail....
