ReplyDeleteusually the picture attract the attention more than the sound, it helps us to revise what we have taken through the semester, and also it will help us in the exam by remmebering the actions of the film , and actually i was very keen to see the old man and the see because i like the sea very much and really this film makes me feel more the sensation of the moralty an values of the story.
yes really it is very useful and I can not forget it.

Its very wonderful to see the play . im very examined . I like macbeth after see it .but i dont execpted this end of play. ihope always see plays.

ReplyDeleteActually I could not see Macbeth movie, I just saw The Old Man and The Sea, Actually I will never forget it, on the contrary it's assured the information and the pictures in our mind,it helps us to understand the story.
I think the practical training is better and faster than theoretical training for education…

ReplyDeleteWhen I first read the Novel of The Old Man & The Sea, I didn't like it at all, I found it boring ! I didn't like neither the old man nor the boy, but I liked their characters after watching the movie, specially the little boy !

ReplyDeleteyes I think so .I think when you show a film after reading it's story, it helps you to get more and more about it and to keep it's details in your mind for a long time .
For me,'Macbeth' and 'The Old Man and the Sea' were fun and interesting,always the vision thing helps us to understand and absorption also,we can not forget it.As Fedaa and Fatma mentioned above,this movies explaind alot of wonderful roles and personalities,

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion , there is abig difference between the theoretical part and the practical part what we did during the semester is theoretical part ,but we did in the last class to watch the old man ,macbeth on the screen and to live the events step by step its more benefit than reading from book as amany mentioned above.Thank you ,Dr.

hi every body ,Isaw the both but idont like Macbeth very much idont like the old movie , but in the same time i like the actor who act Macbeth he is very nice ,handsome.

The whole idea about watching both 'Macbeth' and the 'The old man..' sounds amazing to me ..i really enjoyed watching them ,and I would like to thank you Dr. a lot for giving us such a nice chance that I will never forget about ..although this kind of movies is not my favorite …I mean the old one, but what really matters here is that every thing now is clear about 'Macbeth' and ' the old man…' , so is "seeing is believing " valid here ? absolutely yes

ReplyDeleteI didn't belive everything I see so for me seeing is not believing but the tow shows were interesting specially macbeth because it was the first time i see the hall story.

Although this is a rather dark film, Macbeth was written as a dark play and therefore is very fitting.
ReplyDeleteThe way that this film was done reflects the difficulties of converting a successful and ageless stage production into a filmic production. It is filmed and acted in a way that expresses the actors' stage presence and ability while exercising the many capacities that cameras have.
It is worth watching.
I'm a student who watched the movie Old Man And The Sea I think the movie's graphics weren't all that good. The plot was good, but the graphics were horrible. Every thing looked fake, especially the marlin. Other than that the movie was good. They didn't make many changes, and the changes they did make, made the movie better not worse. The actors did their job pretty good and they were convincing. For example when the old man was out to sea looking for the fish and talking to himself he was saying things with a lot of feeling. Or the part when he was saying that he had to kill the fish even though he loved it and respected it. Then when he was asking himself if it was right to kill the fish he put enough real emotion in there to convince the person watching that he was actually there. The actors looked like I imagined they would look. Except one, the daughter Angela. They stuck to the book and how they said stuff and what they said so it was actually a good book in terms of the plot, if you can get over the fake graphics than it's a fairly good movie

But in so doing, he has upset the natural order and cannot hope to prosper.

ReplyDeleteHi all, about watching both of Macbeth & The Old Man & the Sea is usefull, I understand Macbeth before watching the film because it's really has attractive events to know more about it. However, the novel was hard & I decided to read it before one week of the final exam. Generally, I'm not interested in novels. Then u told us that there's the film so I can tell u now that I rely on watching the movie & I never read the novel, I understand everything of it by watching. Really it became hard to forget such a novel or piece of Drama.
